Embrace mindfulness meditation: Engage in mindfulness practices that focus on non-judgmental awareness. Meditation can help you observe your thoughts without becoming attached to them, reducing the impact of self-criticism. ?? Adopt a 'Character' perspective: Imagine you are a character in a story. This slight detachment allows you to view your actions and thoughts more objectively, and assess them without harsh self-judgment. It can make it easier to understand why you react the way you do and how you might change constructively. ?? Write it out: Use journaling to externalize and evaluate your critical thoughts. Sometimes, writing down your thoughts gives them less power in your mind and allows you to see them more clearly. ??
