My journey through building and selling two education companies showed me that reaching your goals means pushing limits, taking risks, and navigating tough situations. I am filled with excitement and pride to be part of Miss Edgar's and Miss Cramp's School innovative entrepreneurship team in Montreal. Over the past nine months, alongside Ondine Hogeboom and Casey Sherriffs, we've been expanding the school's entrepreneurship platform curriculum for grades 7-11, fostering experiential learning in flourishing entrepreneurship. Having worked in entrepreneurial settings for most of my life, this program is something I didn't know I needed, but I would have been grateful to have taken once I entered the workforce. Learning through experience, connecting classic curriculum with entrepreneurial competency, students can see how these skills can be applied in the real world . Witnessing their passion for problem-solving and preserving our communities and planet fills me with hope for the future. Thank you, Cathy Bernard, for giving us this platform to share our work. We so appreciate you taking the time to speak to our students, to help show them that they have a voice. Looking ahead, I wonder: What if we prioritize entrepreneurial competency development in schools? What if we support students to take responsible action? Engage with empathy? Learn to iterate? What sort of leaders might emerge? These questions drive us to continue shaping resilient, compassionate individuals poised to make a positive impact.
