In an interview with Peter Cappelli in Knowledge at Wharton, he opines that remote work causes management, collaboration, and innovation to be more difficult and office culture takes a hit because people learn culture by experiencing how others in the office behave. https://lnkd.in/gjEFA2p5 Brian Elliot in an article in MIT Sloan Management Review brings a different perspective. He acknowledges the challenges in collaboration for teams distributed across time zones and suggests setting core hours during when team members are available for meetings.
