This is a great read and an area of research/learning for me as well. Specifically I'm focused on how #MachineUnlearning can advance privacy and ethical AI within my #3Cprivacy framework (Context, Choice, Control?). What's pretty cool about this is the ability to have models forget specific data w/o a performance hit and having that align with giving users more control over their data privacy, ensuring compliance, and driving transparency in AI systems. Kush Varshney and team may not know this but earlier this year this came up on a Mixture of experts episode and it got my mind churning on how this ties into my rai-toolkit and bringing this to real-world clients who will be facing #DataPrivacy compliance challenges with AI!
