Week 4 demo had me looking for something a bit over the top. I wanted to show the fine level of detail you can quickly add with Slint. There are plenty of dark/light theme switches on Pinterest, but also I found this delightful moon and sun scene tutorial https://lnkd.in/gtwbwBbh. Took a couple of hours to put together and most of the time was tweaking the animation values. You can live-preview and play with the code here. https://lnkd.in/gfJFCNVv If you have been looking at design concepts on the internet, rolled your eyes and thought 'this is impractical or cannot be implemented' then shoot me a link and maybe I can try and build it for real for a future demo!

We are still in the early stage of exploring Midjourney, and we've found it most pleasing for mockups. We've also incorporated it into our brand strategy sessions as a form of "world-building." 1. When generating images (Midjourney): --sref<URL> is handy in ensuring a unified style, and I prefer it more than blend. 2. To create realistic reflections (PSD/AE): - We masked the animation onto the surroundings (ground, subjects) - Applied some blur + "multiple" blend mode Here's the results! ??

Q-dance decided to go for an upgrade for Defqon.1 2025. An event-brand look based on motion instead of static. And I was able to add my own DNA to it. Diederik Dam & Jurriaan Verdoold had a challenge for me. That I happely accepted and add my own vision to it. Quickly after a few tests; we decided to just go for it. Ofcourse; everything you see; - Potentially fully automated. - Adaptable based on input. - Unlimited variations. I even decided to add some unique animation sequences to the lower thirds & the titles. Sometimes that is next to impossible to do by hand; but thanks to automation, creates whole new posibilities. This is something that will continue to evolve; It will most likely see an upgrade for next time. My favorites? - The lowerthirds; with crazy transformations & - The countdown, an ever evolving visual sequence. Below you see a simple compilation. (Too busy atm to make a "demoreel") Not everything; but just a good impression. --- I'm Daniel, and I create content for events & event vendors. Pushing & using automation with animation and graphics. Easily pushing beyond +10.000 units per clients. #datatovideo #events #animation #cavalry

When working with non-standard or conical compression springs, our software offers two game-changing animation display modes... 1?? Active vs. Inactive Coils: Visualise which coils are engaged and which aren't, helping you optimise performance. 2?? Stress Variation: Track how stress distributes along the spring to pinpoint those crucial "hot spots" that might need design tweaks. This is how I've been having fun lately - by exploring the roles AI can play in animation workflows. Here’s one approach I tried: 1- Created an audio track?in FL Studio: I kept a slow pace to support a more organic animation in the next steps. 2- Built an audio-reactive black-and-white video?using TouchDesigner. 3- Fine-tuned in After Effects?to control movement and stylization better. (the truth is that my limited knowledge of TouchDesigner means I need to rely on After Effects more) 4- Generated the rose with ComfyUI: I used the black-and-white video as a depth map with depth controlNet. To speed up rendering, I applied the photonLCM_10 checkpoint. I used a Lora model to add an oil-painting feel. I've imported an image created by me to be used as a reference for color and composition through the IPAdapter module. 5- Finalized colors and style in After Effects?and synced it with the original audio. #stablediffusion #touchdesigner #aftereffects #process

`pip install streamjoy` (docs: https://lnkd.in/gbbZq9nJ) to enjoyably animate MP4s/GIFs from a list of images, dirs, xr.Dataset, pd.DataFrame, hv.DynamicMap/HoloMap, or even URLs directly! As easy as: `stream(resources, "output.mp4")` Executes in parallel automatically, so animations that took too long to generate can now be generated in a fraction of the time! You can even use it as an accessor: ``` import streamjoy.pandas df = ... df.streamjoy("output.gif") ```

Why would you measure a layer's speed and velocity in After Effects? Hint: No, not to organize a Grand Prix for the fastest layer. So why then? Well, in nature, NOTHING moves without having at least some reaction to that movement. When a cheetah starts sprinting, it lays its head down. When a helicopter starts moving forward, it pivots its rotation a bit. So, why would it be any different in animation? The only thing is, well, sometimes it requires too many keyframes. And when you have to change the timing, moving dozens of keyframes back and forth isn't really convenient. And?that's?why we're using velocity and speed expressions - so we can achieve that natural movement automatically, without adding ANY additional keyframes. Just animate layer's position, add the expression, and that's it. I recently did a full breakdown on that Rigged Pointer - you can check it out on my profile. And if you want to see?4?more super cool expressions, take a look at the link in the comments ??

Why you should use expressions in After Effects ?? (read below) 1?? You want to lose your hair quicker 2?? You like to complicate your life 3?? ... Okay, those were obviously jokes - let's be real now! After Effects expressions, even though they look a bit complicated at first - are actually pretty simple once you understand how they work. So, why should you use them? ?? 1?? To speed up your workflow 2?? To simplify tedious animation processes 3?? To save time during revisions 4?? To create templates for repetitive projects 5?? To make your work fun! (it is fun, trust me) By the way, if you want to watch the full video about Top 5 After Effects Expressions, go to Plainly YouTube channel (link is down below) ??????
