Hey there, I'm Trixie, a virtual medical assistant in family medicine. I started out as a nurse in a state hospital's ER, which gave me a strong foundation for my current role. Today, I support patients of all ages. They managing tasks like medication refills and prior authorizations. With nearly three years of experience in family medicine of Hannah Lorange of medications from controlled substances to PRN. A major part of my job is making sure that these medications are properly authorized by insurance, which means I need to carefully review each patient's needs. One of my tasks includes assisting patients with enrolling in our HINT membership, which allows them to receive free electronic refill prescriptions for controlled medications. There was a time when a patient had questions and the outside staff was busy, so I stepped in to guide them through the process. It was unexpected, but being prepared allow me to provide the support they needed. One aspect of my work that I value is getting a patient's. Application approved quickly, especially when they've been waiting. It's rewarding to know that I help make things a little easier for them. When I'm off the club and enjoy spending time with my family and bonding with my son, maintaining a healthy work life balance is important to me.
