Hey guys, today we are launching version one of Launch Brightly. So me and my buddies have been in that basement for the last year and a half trying to craft this platform that can automate the product screen shot process. A process that at least today is mostly if not entirely manual. Some version of you logging into your demo account, navigating to a page, doing a little bit of inspect element. And into the right state, take a screenshot, perhaps massage it a little bit with some annotations in some other application, save that, then log into your send disk or platform or choice, replace the image in a number of articles and be done with it. That kind of hold 10 minutes is not really an issue. The issue is that each one of these images, because of all of the engineering velocity that we've seen of late, will have the application kind of move forward almost on a day by day basis. The images are static, They live in the past, and the further away the application gets, the more incorrect this somewhat rotten image will be. And there's a cost attached to that. A possible cost is that they might not even think they're on the right article. The image doesn't really look like the application. They can't figure out. They're put in a support ticket. You are underselling your application. You're losing trust. That's all bucket of ills attached to it. Of course there's the time saved whenever you try to apply. Our nation to something as well. Now, the way we want to solve this is to have you set up a bucket of automation recipes. So you ask us to log into your demo account, navigate to a particular page, find the kind of feature in question, delete the element you don't want to have a look at the upgrade banner, the intercom bubble, and so on and so forth. Add a few kind of strings to a text input or open the kind of date selector and so on and so forth. Take the screenshot, style it according to your kind of identity, the nice kind of drop shadow and round the corners, and so on and so forth. Go apply the annotations so that you can put focus on certain parts, perhaps of a big screen shot. Once we've done that, upload the whole thing to the cloud. You now have a repository of fresh screenshots which you can rerun at any moment in time. Say you want to schedule it for runs every Sunday night or every night. But once a month? Doesn't matter. You decide. We will then go in, rerun all of the recipes and just as a side note, rerun them in any mode you would like. You want that screenshot and light mode and dark mode? Sure, let's run it twice. Give you 2 screenshots. Oh, your app is responsive? You want it in tablet or mobile mode? Sure, Give you another kind of handful of screenshots. It's localized. You need the German version? No biggie. We'll render the whole thing in the German version. Take a screenshot of that. But that bucket you can now do with what you want. Well, first thing you can do is ask us to log into your Zendesk or platform of choice, check all of the articles, all of the images, see if anything is out of date. If it's out of date, please go update it. We have all sorts of kind of audits and governance in place, so we know just Willy nilly changed any screenshot. So just expect that. But that's us.
