Veterans have a special bond with one another. It is not something that many non-veterans can understand. ? We did not do what we did for glory or fame, but because there was a calling in our soul that led us down the path of service. ? No matter how long we served or where we served, we can find a connection with each other. ? It is not about being thanked for our service or the freebies that are offered today or other days. ? When we walk into a room, we have this natural ability to connect with one another even if we served decades a part. Listen to the stories when we open up to one another and you will see commonality. ? There is comfort in talking about the things that we do not tell anyone else. ?
