??#COP29 STATEMENT: The United Kingdom’s new target to cut emissions is a shining example of climate leadership. The UK has announced an ambitious goal to reduce emissions by 81% by 2035, putting the country on track to reach net zero by 2050. Hopefully, it will inspire other G20 countries to take similar bold action. Setting this target is a big step, but now the UK must boost its policies and green investments to make it happen.
