4 Days Left to Give! Peer education works. When students dialogue with peers about consent and sexually disrespectful behavior ,they establish group norms in which sexually disrespectful behavior is recognized as a problem and build the foundation for a safer campus. Help the WRC expand our efforts to end sexual violence @illinois1867 through peer education by donating to our Orange and Blue Week campaign by March 9! • Why does peer education matter?
  • “These sessions not only educate but also create a safe space for open dialogue, where individuals can share their experiences and learn from one another. Witnessing the growth and confidence that participants gain from these interactions has been incredibly rewarding.” - Lina, Peer Educator
  • “This role has been a great way to stand out among other candidates for a position.
. . . It has also given me a new perspective on education and making information accessible to everyone.” - Kassie, WRC Peer Educator
  • “I've learned to better my own understandings about consent.” - Aidan, WRC Peer Educator
  • Join our peer educator team in ending sexual violence by making a donation during Orange & Blue Week to our campaign.
