To me the nature based solutions really have the best return on investment. Any carbon removal methodology, it's really a no-brainer of a solution. I've been working for EDF Renewables in North America for 11 years, focusing specifically on financing of our projects and bringing in sources of institutional equity capital into our projects, primarily though in that role. I've worked with local pension funds, asset managers, infrastructure funds, banks, insurance companies that are looking to invest their capital in long term stable cash flow generating ESG investments. What really motivates me and makes me excited to to wake up and go to work every morning is really the bigger picture perspective of bringing in new sources of capital that. I've never invested in renewable energy development before. OI had an opportunity in 2008 to move to India as part of a fellowship program to work with a local grassroots organization. I worked directly with local NGO's and local community organizations to help identify entrepreneurs, and then I worked directly with them to help develop their their business models. Them to secure capital and help them them troubleshoot and and basically get their businesses off the ground. Well, can we learn and what parallels can we draw from the world of of renewable energy finance and solar in particular to understand how to mobilize capital to get early stage projects off the ground will point where they're able to start sustainably? I think that part of it is going to involve some investigation of financial structures. Still different means like forward purchase agreements or carbon streaming contracts, these are types of structures that are are just developing in the market right now and are creating bankable offtake structures that will I think go a long way in giving investors the confidence in being able to invest in in early stage nature based removal projects. To me the nature based solutions really have kind of the best return on investment of potential of any carbon removal methodology. It's really a no-brainer of a solution forest restoration, developing natural carbon sinks. So it's really a matter of just bringing greater investor attention, mobilizing local communities to make sure that they have the the know how and the. Resources to be able to conceptualize carbon removal solutions and drive the process of building nature restoration projects and you risking those projects to turn them into bankable investment opportunities through the BCM.
