The recent Orange Blossom Classic marked PepsiCo’s first tour stop of our Taste of Tomorrow campaign, an initiative aimed at advancing STEM education for HBCU students. With only 9% of the STEM workforce represented by Black professionals, we recognize the need for action—and we’re stepping up. Through “Taste of Tomorrow,” we’re investing $350K directly to HBCUs and their students, including $250K in scholarships at 9 HBCUs in partnership with the PepsiCo Foundation and $100K in STEM-related funding for FAMU and Prairie View. But it doesn’t stop there—we’re also providing hands-on experiences in culinary innovation, showcasing the science behind the food and inspiring future leaders in food science and technology. This is just the beginning of our journey to create a more diverse and inclusive STEM landscape.
