The recent attack on former President Donald Trump echoes the tragic assassination of Jovenel Mo?se, the 43rd president of Haiti, whose untimely death on July 7, 2021, plunged his nation into chaos. These events starkly illustrate the destructive consequences of violence. . At Primary Medical Care Center, we stand firm in our conviction that dialogue and understanding, not violence, are the pillars of any healthy society. It is our duty to uphold the freedoms of speech and assembly, ensuring safety and respect for all, irrespective of political affiliations. . It is evident why Haiti has collapsed when inept and cruel foreigners like the ICG have had more influence on what happens in Haiti over the past 2 decades than solid Haitians like yourselves. Haiti is an international crime scene. Corrupt elites in the US, Canada, Europe in cahoots with the white warlords of Haiti (Bigio, Mevs, Madsen, Apaid) as well as politicians imposed on the people (Martelly, Henry, Guy Philippe, Babekyou) have completely destroyed the Haitian state. No lasting solution can involve these arsonists. Arrest Bigio and Martelly in Miami, this will greatly diminish the militias' access to weapons (See the October 2023 UN Report). Progressive Haitians inside the country and outide will do the necessary to invest in healthcare, education, basic infrastructure. Countries in Africa (Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger...) are showing us exactly what needs to happen. Flush the racist imperialists, now! Ayibobo! Uhuru!

We strongly advocate for the inclusion of the so called "Haiti gangs" on the table in looking for long lasting cure to the stability of Haiti as a country which has been in the limelight for long now! What is happening in Haiti is unfortunate and a disgrace to the World under the watch of the United Security Council that a solution to the same is a justice delayed in bringing sanity in Haiti under armpits of the rule of Law. However, as experts in security matters, management values and administration; the Haitians to be reminded that Only them who have the keys of dialogue, true reconciliation, who knows exactly where their perenial differences emanates from, the hard decisions in silencing guns and giving democracy a chance. That the World organizations who may deem it fit to come in are just but good samaritans in providing a bridge for dialogue, orderliness and concrete aftermath! Forceful disarmament, dishonest talks, conflict of interest, display of high handedness, external incitement, disregard of human rights may just be accelerating anarchy instead of stability. Collectively whatever is yearned for shall come to pass. May we pray for Haiti, give wise counsels and impartial support as they shall resume calmness towards their normal operations.

Every year, 17th July is dedicated to the fight for justice, but the last 9 months have laid bare just how brazen injustice can be - roughly 186,000 murdered people (a conservative estimate as per a study published in The Lancet), families torn apart, infrastructure annihilated and communities destroyed. Yet, many within the international community and most leaders from the Global North see nothing wrong with this. By their account, collective punishment is justice. Missile strikes on hospitals, schools and refugee camps is justice. Ethnic cleansing is justice. Genocide is justice. Unfortunately, as we’ve seen time after time, greed for money, natural resources and power has dominated the existing world order, where some lives matter less than others and thousands of innocent people can be killed with zero accountability. But this is not acceptable. The struggle for justice is not a short walk. It requires years of sustained collective resistance against the powers that be that benefit from maintaining the status quo. If we truly want justice, we need to stay in the fight, and someday, we shall have it. #justice #FightForJustice?

70 lives—including 10 women and three infants—were tragically lost in a gang attack in Haiti today. Yet, amidst this crisis, discussions in America are turning toward deporting Haitian parolees. This is a critical moment for our nation, and it's a time to reaffirm our commitment to the values that define us as a place of refuge, safety, and new beginnings. Since its founding, America has opened its doors to those fleeing persecution & violence. When revolution tore through Europe in the 19th century, people found safety here. In the 20th century, Jewish refugees escaping Nazi persecution and Vietnamese families fleeing the aftermath of war looked to America as a sanctuary. The Cuban people, escaping an oppressive regime, found freedom in America. The same story repeats itself for so many: Afghanistan, Syria, and Haiti. This is what makes America unique, and it’s what Emma Lazarus captured in her poem on the Statue of Liberty: “Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!” Today, as we witness tragedy in Haiti and elsewhere, we should remember that America’s strength is not just in its power or prosperity but in its ability to provide hope and a fresh start to those most in need. We must keep this spirit alive because it is who we are as a nation.
