#Trump wants to change the American military forces For several months now, Donald Trump’s program has been available to read. It's the famous Project 2025, a set of guidelines written for him by the conservative think tank Heritage Foundation. The nearly 1000-page text aims to reshape the United States according to authoritarian, nationalist, and Christian ideals. Among the various aspects touched upon by Project 2025 are the armed forces, which are accused of being weak, overly political, woke, and even Marxist. To correct these tendencies, the Republican plan would eliminate all policies dedicated to inclusivity and diversity, for example: - Abolishing offices and personnel for diversity, equity, and inclusion. - Expelling transgender people. - Prohibiting the Department of Defence from covering travel costs for troops seeking reproductive care, including abortion services. - Eliminating "Marxist indoctrination programs and divisive critical race theory" (without providing any examples of such initiatives). These proposals would likely weaken the armed forces: increasing discrimination and inequities within the military would only compromise its effectiveness and cohesion. With reforms uncertain and government actions potentially falling short, we must take our protection into our own hands. The skill of self-defense is not just an option—it’s a necessity. A powerful example of this is ?????? ??????????, a revered figure in Sikh history. When soldiers abandoned their duty to protect Guru Gobind Singh Ji, she confronted them, led them back into battle, and fought alongside the Guru. Her story reminds us that women have always been vital in defending righteousness. ???? ?????? ?????????? ???? ???????? ????????, I humbly request that you consider this philosophy. Equip yourselves with the strength of a warrior. We cannot always rely on external forces, but we can take responsibility for our own protection. ???? ??????????????, ????????????????, ?????? ??????????????????—let’s make self-defense training a mandatory part of our homes and schools. Across India, we have rich traditions of self-defense—why not prioritize these life-saving skills? We have inspiring examples like ???????????? ????????????, a beacon of resilience and strength. We need more such stories, more empowered women standing tall against any threat. While I support the protests, I believe we must also focus on becoming stronger, exercising daily, and learning the skills that could save our lives. This is the time to stand up, not just in protest, but in action. Let’s take responsibility for our protection and make self-defense a mandatory part of our culture.
