WILL YOU BE AN ADVOCATE FOR OUR VULNERABLE YOUTH? Do you understand how HATE, PREJUDICE, VITRIOL, AND VIOLENT CRIMES continues to plague our societies throughout the world? It all begins when we were young, and our ignorant and uninformed grandparents and our parents grew up hating and being prejudicial against others without having an understanding as to how they became that way. This crisis has gone on for generations and is not just limited to Americans. The world’s population has been indoctrinated from day one, more likely from the Terrible Twos, that they are entitled to be mean and nasty towards one another regardless of the facts. This crisis is not sustainable folks. We must act NOW to turn this around or else we will not survive on this planet. Now, there are millions of you who are acting by volunteering to help others. I praise you and applaud your motivation to BE THE SOLUTION, NOT THE PROBLEM???HELP THOSE WHO HELP THEMSELVES. The rest of us need to follow suit. You can begin by volunteering with the BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF AMERICA. We need to start by educating our younger generation as to how to treat our fellowman. According to their website, www. bgca.org, they state that “Together we can be champions for youth, ensuring that no matter where a kid is from or the circumstances that surround them, don’t determine their access to positive experiences and opportunities that enable success in life.” The driving force behind this goal is advocates like you. GOD gave you the talent to share with others. You can mentor these children by sharing your positive experiences by highlighting the good that permeates our world today and not concentrating on all the negativities. Our young people today are vulnerable and highly influenced by what we as adults do and speak. They tend to copy our actions based on our prejudices. We can begin our mission by providing examples of simple acts of kindness towards one another that can change the way they perceive others. Positive and simple acts of kindness are a good beginning in educating our youth on how they are to interact with others. LITTLE THINGS MEAN A LOT identifies numerous suggestions that even youth can do to help others without hate and prejudice. By helping youth who are struggling in school with their homework and, in numerous cases, being bullied in school by other youth who demonstrate a lack of inferiority as a reason as to lash out at others who appear to be more confident. These youth can then translate their experiences by helping other youth in their struggles. Simple acts of kindness. Additional information can be found in the two books mentioned that are available on amazon.com. Just enter my name Alan R. Borson in the search bar. The future of our world depends on volunteers like you. A few hours each week can have a great impact on these youth. Inaction results in negative results and we see how that has worked out, haven’t we?

The Allegiance Project Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing school safety by offering affordable solutions. In light of Texas HB 3's requirement for armed personnel at schools, the foundation addresses the challenge many districts face in meeting this mandate due to law enforcement shortages. By mobilizing resources from local communities, they aim to bridge the gap and ensure a secure environment for students and staff. On this Giving Tuesday, consider supporting initiatives like this that prioritize the safety and well-being of our communities. #schoolsafety #givingtuesday #safetyfirst Steve Burris Allegiance Project Foundation, Inc.

If you are able to offer assistance, whether through volunteering or monetary contributions, here is a well-organized document containing valuable resources and actionable ways to directly support families in need.
?? There are now over 120 families - victims of the Eaton Fire in Altadena, CA listed in our spreadsheet who are in need. Many heartbreaking stories like this one are emerging, coming straight to our phones and inboxes... "The home in question belongs to my grandmother—it’s the house I grew up in, and it holds deep generational significance for our family. John and Augusta Bohannon, originally from Meridian, Mississippi, moved to Altadena in search of opportunity. Augusta broke barriers as one of the first Black nurses in Los Angeles, and together they purchased the home in 1965, just a year after it was built. This home has been a cornerstone of our family’s history, where they raised their children and grandchildren. It is not just a property to us—it is their legacy. Unfortunately, the day after we learned the home was destroyed, we were also informed that there was no fire insurance on the property. Everything was tied up in the home’s equity, and now we are left with nothing and no means to rebuild." Please help where you can: https://lnkd.in/gHbHUQxc Tomorrow we are having a call with GoFundMe to further help these folks find a way forward. So thankful for Kimberli Samuel and the many people who are helping to find these fundraisers and illuminate the need.

The Mersades Ann Foundation (MAF) has achieved significant success in the nonprofit sector by cultivating partnerships with community leaders, law enforcement, prison outreach programs, family law professionals, and other nonprofit organizations. Their collaborative approach, combined with extensive volunteer support, has enabled MAF to begin to serve the 1,550 children in the DuPage and Kane county area affected by parental incarceration. MAF's primary aim is to break the cycle of generational imprisonment by instilling hope and empowering these children. By prioritizing holistic well-being, the foundation seeks to create a nurturing environment that promotes healing and potential. The success of MAF's initiatives relies heavily on the engagement and contributions of donors, community members, and organizational partners. Through these combined efforts, MAF strives to foster resilience and transform the lives of the children they serve. Mersadesannfoundation.org

It is an opportunity to understand in an empathic manner the approach to stress management and stress reduction. I will be be speaking about how we can reduce and eliminate restraint by creating arousal regulation and co regulation which is the cornerstone of the low arousal approach.Critical to this is the double empathy approach where we change our behaviour in the first instance. All of the key contributors will focus on reducing unpredictability and chaos for the people we support. #mentalhealth #restraint #seclusion #lowarousal #wellbeing #trauma #schools #autism #adhd
