So how does the Good Empire Impact Games 2024 pilot actually work? For each of our G1-17 Global Goals, we have an impact goal. We'll be partnering with 3-5 impact partners (charities, social enterprises, community projects, etc) on each goal, setting up campaigns and challenges to engage participants. Individuals can join challenges, take action and donate through the Good Empire app. Organisations (companies, universities, schools, etc) can also join challenges, and engage their people (employees, customers, community) in impact. And everything is represented on our Global Impact Dashboard, so you can track your contributions and see the impact you're creating. You'll be rewarded in $GOOD for your impact, which can be redeemed in the Good Emporium for some cool stuff from our ethical and sustainable brand partners around the world. Hi! We are Rickey and Kia Davis, CEO's of Early Affirmation Dolls, a black owned doll company based out of Cincinnati Ohio. Our primary product is our 18 inch "Kyya" doll. She is manufactured, boxed and ready to be sold to a little girl who is going to "change the world". Kyya is much more than just her beautiful looks. In fact, what makes her so special is that she speaks positive affirmations when you press her chest. She says I'm Beautiful, I'm Strong, I'm Smart, I'm going to Change the World. We want the Kyya doll in as many young people's hand as possible. Empowered children grow up to be empowered adults that don't wait for change, they create it. We hold those core 4 affirmations to our heart because we started them with our now 5 year old daughter well before she could talk very organically in the mirror. We knew that more girls needed to hear that message, but didn't know how to bring it to the world. Fast forward to the untimely death of my Mother In Love in October 2020, this event caused us an immense amount of pain, so we fueled that pain and turned it into purpose. One of her favorite things to do with our daughter was learning through play and they would play with a variation of things but our daughter loved to play with dolls. Kyya evolved from life's unexpected twists. We honor our Mother In Love, as she is on all of our packaging and we owe her all the accolades or statues this company will ever earn. Currently we are asking for a call to action, an investment Partnership. We are navigating the entrepreneurial landscape hand in hand, ready to make our dreams a reality. We were casted for an upcoming season of "The Blox", an entrepreneurial competition reality show with 70+ entrepreneurial start-ups living under one roof. We will navigate through different activities, lessons and challenges to become the ultimate winner. We started this gofundme to help with Competition fees and travel accommodations. In addition to that we will be applying for MESH (Mental, Emotional, Social, Health) accreditation reviewed by leading child resiliency expert Dr. Deborah Gilboa. Let's talk about Riot Games. Some of the most impactful programs and initiatives I've encountered over the years have a crystal-clear connection to the company's core competency or unique strength. For Riot Games, that means gaming. Toward the end of every year, the company hosts a charity voting campaign. Here's how it works: 1?? Through the Riot Games Social Impact Fund, they select 84 nonprofits across 28 regions 2?? Funds raised by players through in-game fundraisers are allocated to a charity pool created for each participating country. 3?? Players then vote for a nonprofit that resonates with them in any of the participating regions. 4?? After voting ends, the nonprofit with the most votes from each region receive 50% of that region’s charity pool. The second and third place organizations receive 25% (Each participating nonprofit is eligible to receive at least $10,000 of the charity pool). In 2023, $4.5 million was donated to nonprofits thanks to Riot Games' Charity Voting Campaign. ?? Why This Matters: Growing up as an only child in a small Chinese town, I witnessed my parents' incredible sacrifices. My father worked night shifts driving trucks after his day job, often still working at 4 AM. My mother, working far from home, faced such financial hardship that she couldn't afford sanitary pads, resorting to makeshift solutions that no woman should endure. Despite these hardships, their unwavering commitment to my education allowed me to get fine art bachelor degree in China and pursue 3D animation in Canada, opening doors I never imagined possible. ?? However, many girls back home face a different reality: - Forced to drop out of middle school to work in factories - Marrying and having children right after turning 18, lacking skills for independence - Deprived of education, with family support favoring male siblings This cycle of limited opportunities is not the future I want for these girls. My journey from struggling art student to successful game designer proves that with support and education, girls can transform creativity into sustainable careers and independence. ?? Through my game profits, I aim to: 1. Provide crucial educational opportunities 2. Empower girls with skills and knowledge for financial independence 3.
