Meet Women In DSO? > Meet Johanna Tesoniero, DDS, MBA, MAGD Dr. Johanna Tesoniero is an esteemed leader in the field of dentistry, currently serving as the Associate Dean of Clinical Operations at the HPU Workman School of Dental Medicine and Chief Dental Officer of the High Point University Oral Health Network. With 20 years of clinical and operational experience, Dr. Tesoniero has a distinguished career marked by her dedication to leadership, mentorship, and service. Dr. Tesoniero earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University, followed by a General Practice Residency at Bronx Lebanon Albert Einstein. She further enhanced her expertise by completing an Executive MBA from Washington State University. Her commitment to lifelong learning and professional development is reflected in her receipt of the Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), where she also holds both the Mastership (MAGD) and Fellowship awards. Dr. Tesoniero’s contributions to the field extend beyond her roles in education and practice; she has served as Visiting Faculty at Spear Education and as a Consultant to the Arizona Board. Her leadership roles include serving as a Member at Large on the AZ AGD Board, Chief Clinical Officer at Onsite Dental, Chief Operations Officer at Cano Dental, Director of Clinical Operations at Interdent/Gentle Dental, and Partner with American Dental Partners/Associated Dental. In addition to her roles in large organizations, Dr. Tesoniero has provided valuable consulting services in private practice. Her passion lies in helping dental teams reach their full potential, driven by her extensive experience and dedication to advancing the field of dentistry. Dr. Tesoniero continues to be a pivotal figure in dental education and operations, leveraging her vast experience to foster excellence and innovation in the industry.
