This Thursday, October 24th, is the Career fair! Knowing how to do a proper elevator pitch is essential for leaving a good impression on employers. Here are a few tips from Dr. Nazione for an impactful and successful elevator pitch.

In a few weeks, I'll be the keynote speaker at my high school's inaugural career fair event. In the 20 minutes between the end of the career fair and the start of a 3.5-day weekend, I'll be tasked with engaging 500 high schoolers on topics such as career readiness, taking responsibility for their education, getting involved, and life after high school. While I have a few themes in mind, I'm curious: if you could go back and offer advice to your 14-18-year-old self, what would it be?
