One reason for being #ContiProud are our concrete efforts towards #diversity, in all its facettes. #CulturalDiversity #RacialDiversity #EthnicDiversity #GenderDiversity #SexualOrientationDiversity #AgeDiversity #SocioeconomicDiversity #ReligiousDiversity #DisabilityDiversity #EducationalDiversity #CognitiveDiversity #GeographicDiversity When it happens to belong - because of any reasons - to a certain minority in a certain context, latest then you start to feel the unfairness of this world. For us at Continental, Diversity Management is an enabler for transformation. Diversity is a catalyst for innovation. Diversity is mandatory for #AI. We will never be done with that, but we are daily working on it.

?? FII in a Flash with Playbook ?? In a session titled "The Green Transition: How Can Women Power Sustainable Supply Chains?” at the FII Horizon Summit, we explored how women can lead the charge in the renewable energy transition! ?? Featured speakers included Dr. Owen Omogiafo OON and Dr. Angela Wilkinson. With women making up 76% fewer workers in the energy sector compared to men, it's essential to elevate female voices in this critical shift. So, how can women drive sustainable change in our energy systems? ?? Here are the highlights of the session: ? Women as Catalysts: Women are increasingly seen as vital to energy development due to their nurturing abilities and focus on sustainability, driving transformative change. ? Equity in Energy Access: Ensuring equitable access to energy is essential for social progress, emphasizing that energy should be accessible regardless of socioeconomic status. ?? AI in Energy: AI can optimize processes and predict maintenance needs, but its development must be carefully monitored to avoid biases that could limit opportunities for women. ?? Regenerative Supply Chains: The future of supply chains must not only minimize emissions but also focus on restoring and regenerating natural ecosystems, aligning with broader sustainability goals. ?? Women in Leadership: Women are increasingly stepping into leadership roles in energy, bringing unique perspectives that prioritize collaboration, active listening, and nurturing environments. ?? Entrepreneurship Opportunities: There is a growing trend of female entrepreneurs in the energy sector, who are breaking barriers and proving that women can lead successful ventures independently. ?? System Innovation: It is crucial to address systemic biases in funding and support for female-led initiatives, ensuring a more inclusive approach to energy innovation and transition. Want to dive deeper? Check out the full session on YouTube for more insights and inspiration! ?? ? https://lnkd.in/dRqPrHMT #getplaybook #becomeamember

Despite the growth of femtech, we are still far from achieving equal access to health interventions and bodily rights. At The Case for Her, we've spent the past decade amplifying funding and advocacy for menstruation, female sexual health, and pleasure. Only 4% of research funding is allocated to women's health. This is unacceptable. Women's health is everyone's health, and ignoring it comes at a cost we can no longer afford, and we need to continue to destigmatize these issues. Together with Wendy Anderson and Cristina Ljungberg, I've worked worldwide to advocate for increased funding and support for women's health research. It's time for all investors to recognize this sector's untapped potential—not only as a market opportunity but also as a moral imperative. We must also address the digital suppression of women's health—it's time to stop censoring crucial conversations and information. Thank you to Nexer for inviting me to speak at the Nexer Network: Women event and helping raise awareness of these crucial issues. Let's keep pushing for change. #Femtech #PromisingFuture #TechIsForEveryone Nexer Group Matilda Hedblom Petra Holmb?ck Julia Runfeldt Charlotte Sund?ker
Did you know that only 4 percent of the Swedish research funding is allocated to women's health research?* ? We invited?Gerda Mazi Larsson?to the Nexer Network: Women event to talk about femtech and share some important insights. Gerda is the co-founder of The Case for Her, an organization that highlights the current climate in women's health research. ? ”Women have a more complex biology.?If things were tested on women, it is highly likely they would also work for men, so it's strange that women aren't the starting point”, says Gerda. ? We asked her to share her insights in the post below. Read here??? ? #Femtech #PromisingFuture #TechIsForEveryone *Source: (https://lnkd.in/dzw3p_wy)
