We are excited to share that Yi Chan, CFM has joined our team as Strategic Partnership Manager! Yi Ling Chan has over 8 years of experience in floodplain management. Prior to Forerunner, she provided floodplain management support across all levels of government, including creating and updating FEMA trainings, performing state CAP-SSSE project work, and providing local floodplain management and CRS assistance as a Senior Planner at AtkinsRéalis. Yi previously served as the Texas State NFIP Coordinator, where she provided floodplain management technical assistance and training to over 1,200 communities across the state. She was recognized as the 2022 NFIP State Coordinator – Best/Project Innovation Award winner for her initiatives in Texas. In her role as Strategic Partnership Manager at Forerunner, Yi will be an advocate for our partner communities, helping to ensure an excellent experience and gathering feedback on how Forerunner can increase our value to states and communities.
