Present challenge for small tailors and designers in the garment industry. Here are two significant roadblocks that small designers and tailors might be navigating: 1. Limited Exposure: Small tailors often lack the platform and guidance to showcase their skills and attract more customers. They specialize in tailoring custom garments, especially for ladies, without owning their inventory. 2. Digital Presence: Small designers, despite their expertise in crafting exquisite clothing, struggle to establish a digital presence. They are unable to expand beyond their inner circle due to various constraints, including the lack of multiple SKUs and brand identity. I think there is lot to do through a dedicated mobile app, an umbrella brand, or innovative strategies, there's immense potential to uplift these segments and unlock their full potential. And now, we have the closest thing to the closet generator from the most unlikely source—iPhone’s Notes app. Gen Z is using the new Notes app functionality as an everyday outfit generator. By copying and pasting selfies into avatar-esque stickers, they’re creating a lookbook of their wardrobe. The big question is, can brands get in on this trend, or learn from its genesis and functionality? As trends and culture researcher Agus Panzoni says, “Brands need to adapt by providing tools that help consumers cultivate their own point of view.
