Bringing back our TSPM MBA Student Spotlight series with, Michael R. Flowers! Michael is a second year, full-time MBA student in the Erdman Center for Operations and Technology Management, specializing in Technology Strategy and Product Management. Michael studied Sociology and Social Welfare as an undergraduate at UW-Madison while also balancing 4 years as a student-athlete for the men’s basketball team. His career experience spans working as an investment analyst, tech startup founder, and venture capitalist. Michael pursued an MBA opportunity at UW-Madison to further his expertise in product management.? ? In earning an MBA from the Wisconsin School of Business, Michael aims to become a chief product officer and drive product innovation with a customer-centric focus for corporations and startups. While at the WSB, he is pursuing certificates in strategic Innovation and entrepreneurship to support this goal. Within the University of Wisconsin community, Michael serves as a fellow for The Consortium, the Weinert Center for Entrepreneurship | Wisconsin School of Business' Enterprise Development Program, and as a project assistant for Discovery to Product. Outside of the WSB, Michael is an angel associate for Wisconsin Investment Partners and spends his time traveling to new cities and countries, as well as helping early-stage startup founders in a fractional product officer capacity. ?
