The Pensions Dashboards Programme (PDP) has today published its draft data standards. We are pleased that the data standards have been published - this represents another important milestone in making Dashboards a reality. Our Director of Data Solutions?Paul Capel?said: ‘Capita has long been supportive of Pensions Dashboards and the importance of getting it right. This is the reason we volunteered to be part of the Early Participant programme at the very start. Our commitment to the industry is demonstrated through our active collaboration with key organisations like the PDP, PASA and TPR. Recently, our contribution to refining data standards have been instrumental, with a significant portion of our feedback being adopted. This inclusion highlights our dedication to innovation and excellence in service delivery, ultimately benefiting the broader pensions community. Our Pensions Dashboards team are encouraged to think differently, throwing out the standard playbook and rewriting rules for how pensions administration will work in a digital world to drive real impact, by developing solutions to some of the tougher challenges in order bring Pensions Dashboards from concept to reality. This is why we are building our own ISP (integrated service provider) to connect to the Pensions Dashboards ecosystem. The team are also carefully considering and designing the member journey and how this will work in practice to provide an end-to-end solution that will ensure a positive member experience from start to finish. Wow! Really great reaction and feedback on our new App being launched soon. The app demo has been incredibly well received! Having just spent the morning answering two key questions, approaching 300 times! Two outcomes, my voice is going and my legs ache! Those two questions, I’ve worked for multiple employers and have several pension pots, how do I consolidate them? Second question, How do I trace previous pensions from other employment? We can answer both of the above questions, the bigger question is how does the pensions industry do better with communication that members understand? People’s Pension have our Members Engagement Plans and our Engagement Managers to help support employers and employees with the messaging, so please use us to support your employees!
