If you're a founder, you have to dream. Often in their journey, founders learn this late. It's never too late to dream big. The more milestones you reach, the more you're comfortable going for more. When I see founders creating their products - 1. They are emotional about the launch 2. They care about the website, the app 3. They care about functionality, feedback, etc. Then after the initial traction, they see a 'Dip'. A dip in sales, brand engagement, revenue and retention. . . Do you realize that this can be the problem of memory? Is your brand etched in your target consumer's mind? Do they consider alternatives, or do they just go for your brand? . . That's where, me and Gurjinder are torn about this! The use of 'multi-colored logos'! They lead to - 1. Increased eyeballs 2. More visual delight in the packaging 3. It all starts with a good idea, or sometimes several bad ones! But there's a hell of a lot that needs to be considered before pen meets paper... ?? Story - what is the brand all about and where does it come from? This is the one true differentiator and should underpin everything. ?? Values - the vision, mission and values should live and breathe in the branding of a company. The visual identity and communication style of a brand need to encapsulate these values and bring them to the fore. ?? Voice - what tone does the brand need to have and how does it communicate through key messaging? That personality should shine through. ??? People - who is your audience and what are their needs, motivations and challenges? ??? Structure - what is the brand architecture and what touch points do you have in place? Think about the management of the brand and how that can practically be handled and executed internally. ?? Identity - what sort of look and feel is going to resonate with your audience and galvanise stakeholders? ?? Activation - how will the brand be applied to your marketing channels, such as website, print collateral and socials? This is all part of the #branding process and needs to be addressed before you even start to think about designing a logo, so make sure you invest the appropriate amount of time and resource.
