April 22 is #EarthDay, a global day of activism in support of environmental protection. Extreme weather, pollution and climate take a greater toll on children and older adults. Extreme weather also disproportionately affects communities that have historically been under-resourced or lack community infrastructure to recover from climate-related disasters. This Earth Day, as we take part in initiatives to improve our world, we call for more action to address #healthequity issues that arise from the #climatecrisis.
