It was such a pleasure getting to work as an Advisory Council Member, representing Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners, for WYL's landmark national study to better understand the resident experience. Being able to collaborate and engage with other leading organizations allowed for progressive conversations around how we "show up" for the residents we serve. Through this initiative we were able to secure Resident Trusted Living Experience recognition for some of our assets and a better insight into our resident-centered work. In 2024, my organization WYL led a landmark national study on understanding the benefits of implementing a standardized scoring system to measure resident experience and living conditions in multifamily housing. With a focus on enhancing quality of life for residents, the research aimed to provide a comprehensive analysis on how standardized metrics can lead to improved outcomes in care, satisfaction, and operational efficiency. This research serves as a vital resource for policymakers, lenders, owners/operators, and stakeholders looking to elevate the standards of care and living conditions within the national landscape. By embracing a standardized scoring system, we can collectively work towards a future where all residents enjoy a dignified, high-quality living experience.
