Construction of the Amsterdam Dijksgracht railway junction with reinforced earth structures in 45 seconds! The reinforced earth constructions are finished in several stages in the middle of complex railway and geometry conditions. In these challenging conditions Prorail is working on the construction of a railway flyover junction to make train movements around Amsterdam Central Station smoother. The first milestone has been reached by finishing the tunnel by Strukton Infra Specials. The railway tracks will be placed in coming months. In this large @ProRail project the earth retaining wall constructions are built by Molhoek-CCT B.V. // Naue Group. The structures are built with Naue Secugrid and Secutex nonwoven geotextiles. The design of the geometrically complex structures was carried out in 3D and BIM (building information modelling) in collaboration with Antea Group Nederland Group. The survey team carried out an as build survey and BIM ready model of a long confined space sub tunnel to support a complex refurbishment road project.
