Great to attend the summer showcase for the UC Centre for Entrepreneurship tonight. Always a wonderful time to connect with the startup ecosystem here and catch up with many friends and see those we met during a two hour mentor session with them in January on legal issues! There were about 90 mentors this year, nice work to you all. The keynote from Levi Fawcett saw him sharing three key learnings that no one told him at the start - take note! ??? 1. Be ambitious - are you aiming to be world leading? Dont be held back by thinking you can’t do it. ?? 2. What is the problem - all problems are hard but they are not equal. Are you solving a really painful problem for customers? ??3. Focus - say no to distractions, and if in doubt, say no to even more things… Well done to everyone in the cohort!
