Food for thought this Friday - this striking graph from the International Energy Agency (IEA) showing current global low-emissions hydrogen production, versus the targeted COP28 pathway for 2030. Governments must rapidly scale up production of the only near-zero emission #hydrogen, made from renewable electricity via electrolysis, to decarbonise existing fossil hydrogen production. Each year, fossil hydrogen production produces more emissions than the global aviation industry.
