October is here, and it’s an extra special one for me. It's my birth month, and I couldn’t be more excited. There’s something about a new month, especially this one, that brings the perfect energy to refocus and realign our goals. Whether September brought victories or valuable lessons, October reminds us that fresh starts are always possible. In customer support, just like in life, each new interaction is a chance to grow, improve, and make a difference. This month, I’m focusing on embracing change and staying consistent. What about you? How to deliver Quality on Time – would you dare to try? From day one I ask people what they are going to do the coming week and why. Some ‘innocent’ questions: ??Why would we do that ? (never use 'you') ??Who’s waiting for that ? ??What do they need ? ? How much do they need ? ??When do they need it ? ??Is it really necessary ? ??How do we know ? ??Is it really necessary now ? ??Is this the best way to do it ? ??Does it fit the available time ? ??If not: What are we going to do about it ? ? People come in with their week-plan, and come out with a modified plan, more going to work on the right things, and less on unnecessary things. Immediate savings. From day one. Everyone in the team (and me) will know exactly what the others are going to do, why, and whether they need to help each other. At the end of the week, everything is done (well, after a few weeks it will be). Would you like to try?

A little about our retrospective meeting ?? After starting a new idea or project, it's important to see what went well and what didn't. We look at mistakes and think about how to avoid them and make things better next time ?? We analyze all shortcomings and gaps and brainstorm ways to avoid them and improve future processes. This meeting was exactly that. However, it is also important to monitor results during the implementation of an initiative, as it makes it easier to identify the causes of errors and difficulties ??
