?? As Amazon Prime Air starts serving the Phoenix Metro area, are we finally starting to see viability in commercial drone delivery? I have my concerns that the numbers still don't add up and limitations with 5lb or less restrictions. However there are a growing number of pilots being run globally and a select few that are able to make deliveries non-loss making (Manna Drone Delivery).

Amazon just completed its first delivery by drone in Italy! Amazon has successfully conducted its inaugural drone delivery test in Italy, utilizing its MK30 drone capable of carrying packages up to five pounds and operating in light rain. The test, authorized by Italian regulators ENAC and ENAV, took place in San Salvo. Amazon plans to commercially launch its Prime Air delivery service in Italy in 2025, pending regulatory approval. This expansion aligns with Amazon’s ongoing efforts to broaden its drone delivery services, which are already operational in College Station, Texas, and Phoenix, Arizona, with additional U.S. locations anticipated next year.
