This is where our city started in 1894. Part of the revitalization is really bringing in and making sure that we don't forget about where we begin. I think what's really good is Olson #1 bringing expertise in in planning, but more importantly to that, their willingness to open their ears and listen. Revitalizing Pearland's Old Town area really comes at a great time where the city's been growing a lot in different directions. This is the time for us to really think about what we want to see there. And what they want to preserve and and cultivate in that area, it's really and truly handing off a great city, a vibrant city, a growing city to our next generation. So what excites me is making sure that we put things in place today, handle problems today. So we set the next generation up for just incredible success. At Olson, our shirts are really unique because we bring together multiple disciplines. We're using our transportation planners, our landscape architects, our engineers, as well as our. Community planners and engagement specialists. Communities like to do charettes because it opens the dialogue to the public. Getting to sit down over multiple days helps us get to that nitty gritty, to those fine grain details. Identify challenges but also create a real plan that's feasible and doesn't just sit on the shelf. We want something that the community can use and take true steps towards their desired vision.
