Family Court System discussion about Mothers' and Fathers' organizations and which gender is more oppressed: "Could it be this division is planned to cause a fight against one another vs the real issue? " Absolutely, and unless we recognize it and unite against a common enemy, this fight will continue. Narcissists, regardless whether a father, mother, lawyer, psychologist, or a judge, will get its narcissistic supply and destroy anything in its pursuit of it and will reward anything that will bring it. The system, being infected by this virus itself, needs a narcissistic parent so it brings it its feed. The fight is elsewhere where most people think. Fragmenting mothers and fathers merely enables the game and is its purpose. People may think they are pushing back but they are merely enabling the game. We Have Had Enough. Let's UNITE.

Why we can not resolve the domestic violence situation without protecting children adequately from abusive parents: Anyone can fall prey to a coercive controller, yet adult children who have endured narcissistic abuse in their childhood are likely to attract what they know best in their romantic partners. What feels familiar is what we attract - law of attraction. What we resist is also what we attract - law of resistance. So while healing, there’s a dangerous spot we are walking right into. Without consciously knowing that we are dating an abuser we enter these relationships, because our subconscious mind is fine with what is to come. It takes a shift of our subconscious mind in order to prime our mind for healthy relationships and attract mentally and emotionally healthy prospective partners. Then we reach the state of choice. This is not yet the ordinary for victims of emotional abuse / domestic violence. I don’t see enough women who go through mental healing. I don’t see the legal system protecting children - when it is their human right. Mothers who stand up for their children - because they want to protect them - are declared as parental alienators - and do not receive the schooling and support they need in order to build their children’s resilience.

A message to Diddy and all others engaged in perpetrating violence against women: Hitting rock?bottom should never serve as a justification for perpetrating violence upon another person. While you?may attempt to rationalize such actions, it is important to recognize that behavior?is?communication. Traumatized people?often end up traumatizing others, which is?unacceptable. It is important to recognize that there are two types of pain in therapy: the pain that comes from avoiding our underlying issues, and the pain that comes from directly addressing and resolving them. Offering?an?apology solely in response to being exposed reflects a primal?fear response and serves as a mechanism to protect?your?ego. Apologizing solely in response to being exposed reflects a primal fear response and serves as a mechanism to protect your ego. The question is: Have you confronted the blind spot that led you to believe it's acceptable to?hit another person? #endviolenceagainstwomen

?? **Seeking Solutions Beyond Surface Fixes** It's time we acknowledge that throwing more training and resources at our system's issues isn't enough. Our system isn't just a mechanical machine; it's made up of people, emotional beings whose behaviors and attitudes shape its culture. A comprehensive review, led by a diverse team including victims/survivors and frontline workers, is imperative. It's about uncovering opportunities while shedding light on the underlying factors perpetuating the system's shortcomings. If a mechanical machine malfunctions, we open it up and examine its components. Similarly, if our court system fails, why do we instinctively look elsewhere for the problem? Let's open the metaphorical case of our court system and truly understand its inner workings. Let's stop externalising problems. Often, the root cause lies within. Failing to recognise this only retraumatises those within the system and the individuals it serves, particularly victims/survivors and their families. It's time for introspection, for a systemic overhaul that prioritises empathy, accountability, and genuine reform. Only then can we truly serve justice. #JusticeReform #SystemicChange #EmpathyInAction Holly-ann Martin OAM Neil Milton Fiona Creaven GAICD Fiona Boyle William Wainwright Chris O'Connor, APM Daryl Higgins Bruce Smyth Natalie Walker Donna Kellett Lawrence Moloney

It Is Inhuman and the cruelty legalize. Is too much power in the hand of individual like you and me and the do evident a lack of judgment. The justice system often perpetuates injustice. Too many people experiencing parental alienation turn to family court seeking justice, only to find that the system consolidates the problem, and enforces the damage being inflicted on their relationship with their children for years to come. This is partly because there is no official definition or recognition of parental alienation, leaving millions of people feeling like their experiences are dismissed or invisible. Abuse and neglect must always be ruled out before diagnosing alienation, but alienating behaviours themselves are abusive. Coercive control is recognised as abuse, and alienating behaviours involve coercive control. Yet, parental alienation has yet to be recognised as abuse.

S*X education is so important for women who have experienced domestic abuse because; ? it teaches you how to love yourself again (through self-pleasure!) ? allows you to create healthy boundaries ? allows you to recognise red flags ? allows you to experience healthy romantic relationships ?builds self-esteem and worth ? allows you to set your success criteria so you’re living with intent and not just surviving ? allows you to relax into pleasure, healing and regulating that nervous system Notice how nothing I say is ever focused on the abuser and the reason they abuse. I don’t give a sh*t. I want you to have your life back. I want you to go from abuse to success, just like I did. GOSH, it seemed like I would forever be locked in my thoughts of inadequate, incapable, and self-sabotaging behaviorisms… It was even easier too over pack my thoughts as a sexual and domestic abuse survivor. Constant self judgement: WHY DID I? WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? WHY DO YOU KEEP LOOKING FOR LOVE AND APPROVAL FROM OTHERS VERSUS YOURSELF? WHO has experienced or are experiencing these thoughts? WORKING on FREEING “my mind” I wound up FREEING my Worth and my Future. It is possible, and support through the process is not a Weakness but a Strength. Always Remember you are BRAVER Than You Believe, STRONGER Than You Seem, SMARTER Than You Think & Twice as BEAUTIFUL As You'd Ever IMAGINED." https://lnkd.in/d5A7u_Vc #survivors #domesticviolence #sexualviolence #victimservices #victimofabuseconsulting #envisionyou #envisionyoudomesticandsexualvictimsconsultant #consultants #experience #certifications #legislators #familycourt #arizona #the valley #endthesilence #domesticviolence #domesticviolenceawareness #domesticviolenceprevention #gunviolenceawareness #violenceagainstwomen #genderbasedviolence #GBV #intimatepartnerviolence #livedexperience #DVSurvivors

We have an unspoken duty to watch for signs of coercive control (often linked to domestic violence)! “Coercive control is a form of domestic abuse, or intimate partner violence. It describes a pattern of behaviors a perpetrator uses to gain control and power by eroding a person’s autonomy and self-esteem. This can include acts of intimidation, threats, and humiliation. Research into coercive control suggests that this type of abuse often predicts future physical violence. Anyone in any type of intimate relationship can experience coercive control. Some research suggests that it is mainly women who experience it, while other studies suggest that the rates for men and women are similar.” Watch and act!!

In August 2008, an 18-year-old living in the Seattle area named Marie reported that she had been raped in the middle of the night by an intruder. However, when Marie shared her terrifying experience with her older friend Shannon, she was met with skepticism. Marie didn't act the way a survivor of sexual assault should act. She was laughing, acting out, and joking. As Shannon recalled, "If I had been raped, I would have been hysterical. I would have been crying, really upset...." But that wasn't Marie. The police shared Shannon's skepticism. Indeed, they were so concerned that eventually, they took the step of charging Marie with making a false report. The thing is, Shannon was wrong and the police were wrong. Marie was indeed sexually assaulted, and through a series of extraordinary circumstances, her rapist would eventually be caught and she would be vindicated. I'm sharing the story of Marie as a supplment to my short article yesterday addressing the value of assessing demeanor in credibility assessments. While the demeanor of a witness may provide useful information, one must be very careful not to misread it. People experience a wide range of emotions, particularly in the experience of trauma. Suffice it to say, Shannon and the police made a critical error in assuming that Marie should respond to the trauma of sexual assault in the way they thought appropriate. To conclude, while demeanor can be evidentially relevant in assessing credibility, one must handle it with caution because it can easily be misread. And that can lead to erroneous, and potentially disastrous conclusions. At Veritas Solutions we have trauma-informed investigators who are diligent to look for signs of trauma and make informed and cautious judgments concerning witness demeanor. If you'd like to hear more about Marie's story, check out the Peabody winning episode of "This American Life" that I linked below. (Marie's story is also told in an excellent 2019 miniseries called "Unbelievable.") https://lnkd.in/gRVuMjG7

3 个月So how does one both protect oneself and one’s children AND stay out of a very corrupt Family Court system which is highly likely to be operating from the narcissistic paradigm?
