The answer is ZERO! These additional 1-5 POSTSEASON games are also above the Players’ 12-Game athletic scholarship agreement? Our Proposal offers Major Benefits in all three Categories to the Players and their Families! Scholarship Football Players are owed Hundreds of Millions of dollars from this year’s Media contract that uses these Players’ Name, Image, and Likeness NIL without any equitable financial consideration to the Players or their Families! This lost Money could have a major impact on these Players lives, the lives of their current and future family members for generations? My wife and I are making a more concerted effort to watch the Olympics this year. With ratings for this year's event up significantly, we're not alone. We've been primarily watching Peacock, and I'm particularly impressed by the 'Gold Zone.' As a fan of Scott Hanson and the National Football League (NFL)'s RedZone, I find this format of showcasing the most exciting live events fantastic. The variety of events and the high-quality coverage have truly enhanced our viewing experience. However, one thing could improve the experience: quickly contextualizing a live event for viewers who join mid-progress. Imagine if they could introduce critical rules, storylines, and athletes right when you tune in. I'm picturing a series of "tickers" and graphics that prompt the user non-intrusively whenever they tune in.? This can happen automatically whenever someone joins the channel and can also live as an option the user can access at any time, with the Gold Zone editorial team constantly updating the "need-to-know" information. Another option could be more consistent cut-ins from the Gold Zone team, with them taking priority over the primary event announcer, one of RedZone's appeals. Regardless, it's been great watching such a range of events with athletes at the pinnacle of their careers representing their country. How are you watching the Olympics this year? The World DanceSport Federation said the ranking methodology is based on each athlete’s top four performances within the past 12 months — but excludes Olympic events including the Paris Games and Olympic qualifier series events in Shanghai and Budapest. Additionally, no ranking events were held between December 2023 and the Olympics — to allow athletes to focus on qualification. The federation clarified that the unusual circumstances of this year’s competition schedule resulted in many athletes being ranked based on a single event. In Raygun’s case, her first-place finish at the Oceania continental championships in October 2023 earned her 1,000 points. Many within the breaking community have criticized the rankings for not giving a clear picture of breaking as a sport and as a culture. “Speaking of the WDSF, they actually don’t have any real merit with the breakers or the breaking community,” said Zack Slusser, vice president of Breaking for Gold USA. “And they also haven’t been able to organize events by their measure that would contribute to creating an accurate world ranking.” According to Slusser, breakers only performed in events organized by the WDSF — the Lausanne-based governing body for competitive dance sports — to get enough points to qualify for the Paris Olympics. Breakers “had no incentive, no desire to even continue participating with the WDSF after that,” Slusser said. “Because they’re not cultural events.
