Concerned about the lifespan of your electric vehicle's battery? ?? My latest preprint introduces a novel method for accurately estimating battery state-of-health (SOH), using data from the entire discharge cycle. This innovative approach analyzes both voltage and temperature, paving the way for more reliable and efficient electric vehicles. ?? Read the full preprint titled “A Novel On-board SOH Estimation Method for Lithium-ion Batteries with Hybrid Feature Approach” on TechRxiv and share your thoughts in the comments below! https://lnkd.in/gjcmxdKr In this work, we propose a hybrid feature approach that combines incremental capacity and temperature analysis to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of SOH estimation. Unlike other studies that focus on specific voltage window in the discharge cycle to estimate SOH, we utilize the whole discharge cycle by combining IC features primarily from the voltage range above 3.6V and temperature features from the range below 3.6V.
