Hi everyone, So this Friday is the Extra give. As always, we're really excited for such a great day to just highlight and celebrate giving all across Lancaster County. There's so many awesome organizations that are a part of the extra give, so many great nonprofits in our community in general. And so as you're thinking about supporting Water St. and other nonprofits through the extra give, just want to give a shout out to so many great organizations that are involved in addressing homelessness and poverty in our. Community in this season where we're, we're dealing with some extra stresses. I just want to call out a few of our friends out there who are doing great work. First of all, Tenfold who stepped into the gap to open up their interim shelter, the YMCA, who's going to be running the new low barrier shelter that's going to be opening later this year. The Lancaster Food Hub, who has walked this journey and and run low barrier shelter for a couple of years, continues to do outreach work and support our friends who are on the street. The Coalition on Homelessness. Anchor Lancaster who's there everyday serving breakfast and has a day shelter and is connecting with our guests and friends on the street. There are just a few of the organizations that are part of the extra give that are doing amazing work that Water St. partners with every day. There are so many more. If I tried to list them all I'd miss a bunch. So check out homeless. You can search on the website for extra give. Just type in homeless. I think there's like 59 organizations that are addressing homelessness in some way in our. Community, we need one another and we all need your support. So as you think about giving on Friday through the extra give, please think of Water Street, but also think of our other friends out there who are working to support our neighbors who are struggling in this moment.
