The Colfax Downtown Association is breathing new life into Colfax's historic business core and reimagining what’s possible for business development in the rural community. With a Small Business Innovation Fund grant from Commerce, they purchased and renovated two buildings, and created a business incubator to help entrepreneurs with business development and are a support system to help them succeed. The Cellar, The Coco Bee and Wild Ember Kitchen are three unique businesses that have thrived since joining the incubator program. They are an example of how well business incubators work for everyone involved – from the community impact to business growth and job creation.
