Check, check. Check 1212 Check check. I started warm audio with a single goal. I wanted to give musicians and engineers access to great sound. You could plug in a warm audio microphone, put it right next to something that costs 10 times more, and feel fully confident it would sound just as good. Price has always been really important to me. It's one thing to be able to build something amazing, it's another thing to make it accessible. Really, nothing has changed and that's still what we do today. Every musician should be able to access incredible sound. Every single product that comes through here does not leave this warehouse unless it has crossed our desks. So every single microphone, every bit of outboard gear, every single pedal we're testing every single one, every single 1 is going to be tested thoroughly looked at for scratches, blemishes. We want to make sure that everything is working about every single product. It is such an honor to be able to build microphones and preamps and compressors, EQS, petals for a living. I absolutely love it. But it goes so much deeper than just replicating circuits. It's about using top tier components and achieving that tone, the tone that we've all desired and heard on records our whole lives. But it doesn't stop there. We don't just build gear, we obsess over every detail. Every knob, every wire, every tube. And over the past 14 years, we've honed our process to meet a quality standard. We've back with a ton of confidence. And because of this process, we're now offering our customers A5 year warranty on every product. So how do we do it? Running the test of any rack units, we run some sort of signal through it, whether it be a 1K tone, whether it be a drum track, a guitar tone, and with these switches we like to just make sure that nothing in the signal cuts, nothing sounds off. We would like to make sure that they're nice and tight and nice click. Nothing's loose and we can't really wiggle them too much. And of course, if a particular frequency is supposed to be attenuated, make sure that frequency is attenuated, such as the the high pass here at 80 Hertz, make sure that the low end kind of cuts out a little bit. On the opposite end, make sure the 2K up here, anything high cut off there and then tape saturation, add some color, change the tone up just a little bit. When the gear arrives from our contract manufacturer, we don't just ship it right out the door. Our skilled technicians unbox, They inspect, they hand test every piece, the knobs and switches, even those. We make sure they're aligned, straightened, tested for smooth operation. Every unit is cleaned and polished before put back in the box. It's pristine the moment you get it. Every detail counts. We'll get some mics in that really don't need much attention and maybe just need like a quick wipe down and they're good to go. Other mics need a little bit more attention. Like some mics will have where we'll have just have gunk just in the middle of these metal bars here. And so we'll take a toothpick and kind of go over it on both sides where all the metal bars are, making sure we get that gunk off, just making sure we're pretty thorough with it. Take our microphones for example. I mean, we test for flawless performance. We listen to them, make sure they match the reference sample. We check polar patterns, pads, filters, cables for reliability. We'd expect the mounts for durability. We make sure the mic is ready to capture your sound the moment you take it out-of-the-box. When new product comes from the factory, specifically a microphones, what we like to do with that is make sure that the mics actually line U with our reference mics here in the studio frequency wise and make sure that they are lined up properly and there's no wild variances between reference and the new batch. For preamps, our testing is done using a dynamic mic in a controlled ISO booth so we can listen to the noise floor and make sure it is super quiet. We checked the switches, the EQ, the phantom power. We ensure the preamp delivers clean, professional sound with no noise. We run uncompressed audio through our compressors, we listen to them by ear, we check all the input and output functions, the gain side chain, dynamic control, we even have computer processes to check things our ears can't hear. Each test is tailored very specifically to each and every product. Anytime anything fails, we send it over to our repair team. They opened it up, they fix it by hand, and then they send it back to us for the text to retest one more time. We are using the Quantas Islam QA 403 to help not only with QA but also with the troubleshooting. I'm showing the spectrum here which shows frequency in one way and and DBU the other way. And the unit I'm troubleshooting actually has a high pitched noise that you can see right here. The way you do frequency response, distortion, noise floor. And then we'll go through step by step testing each feature of the unit. We also use it to calibrate so that when we're as we're making adjustments inside the equipment, then we can also see the effect on the screen. One of the real benefits is we can actually see the compression of the unit at both 4 to 1 and 20 to one as well as with no compression. And that helps us make sure that the unit is in fact compressing at the rate that we think it is. And now the test that's complete. And of course, I will continue to run that test until the entire thing passes and then turn it back over to QA. For guitar pedals, as much as I love every employee to pick up a guitar and wail through the pedal, we do have prerecorded ramped tracks that we run through the petals. We checked the pause for smooth, accurate function. Test the foot switches. Obviously make sure that everything sturdy and ready to go for your next gig. So I have my pedals here, I have my reference, and I have my new one that I am testing. The thing about doing an AB test, basically going to the reference and then going to the one that I'm testing means that I can go back on my pedal here. I can go back and forth making sure that when the knobs are set at a certain place on this pedal and they're at the same place on this pedal, the pedal sounds the same. Doesn't matter which one I'm listening to, so long as they're at the same and they sound the same. Being a train tech at Warm Audio, it's. Fairly easy to just know exactly what we're looking for here, what it needs to sound like, what it needs to look like before we send it out. We listen to a few hundred of these a day, it's pretty quick to know when something's off and something's right where it needs to be. Warm Audio today is still highly focused on making incredible sound available to everyone. Our five year warranty really reflects the passion and precision that we put into every single product.
