What motivated you to pursue a career as a channel head? ??
As I reflect on my 5 year anniversary at Kubrick Group it is a good time to take stock of what motivated me to pivot careers:
?? Communication - being able to connect and "join the dots" with all parts of the business, from senior stakeholders to new joiners, is an integral part of working in the Channel. I embrace the variety, not to mention challenges that each day brings.
?? Enthusiasm - my glass is always half full....and if this happens to contain some rose after a long day even better ??
?? Get Stuff Done - never to be underestimated when working in the Channel, being able to "get sh1t done" is essential, not just in Partnerships, but in work in general. Sometimes my sleeves are permanently rolled up!
?? Never Stop Learning - the opportunity to move into a new direction was too good to pass up. Data is the future and I am glad to be on the journey! The channel is a constant source of learning and development that I embrace.
Thanks to Tim Smeaton, Simon Walker & Oliver Allnutt for seeing something in me and giving me that opportunity to initially pivot, Jay Lockwood for bringing me into the channel, and Nick Allen for your guidance & leadership.
Here's to the next 5 years!
