Day 10 of 100.Still looking at nginx and its vastness, including redirection. I also looked at an older networking project. today I struggled with settling down on one project so I looked through a little of a few concepts and got in that 1% One thing I learned: The ping command that is used to test out network connectivity, works like sonar(like how whales communicate). when you type in the command and an IP address, the computer sends out packets of data, and waits to see if there's a response from the network and analyzes the response i.e. was it slow? or was a response present? etc. #100DaysOfALXSE #ALX_SE #DoHardThings

Just Completed Network Services part2! I learned about common exploits in NFS/SMTP/MySQL. This room was fun and provided great hands on experience with tools like: MetaSploit, John the Ripper, Hydra and NMAP. You learn the basics of the enumerating phase. I learned how information can be extracted using a "mount". Amazing room, definitely recommend!! #tryhackme
