VVA is thrilled to announce our partnership with Youth Enrichment Services and the groundbreaking of their Yawkey Youth Development Center.? ? This three-story, 16,000?SF project?in Jamaica Plain,?Boston,?will include a ski shop, bike?shop?storage, lockers, winter equipment storage, and a rock-climbing wall?for Boston youth to enjoy and explore, a 2,400 SF multipurpose room, classrooms for leadership workshops, college preparation and career exploration programs, as well as administrative and operational spaces. To top it all off, and as a commitment to sustainability, the rooftop will?receive a new solar panel?ready. Project managers from our Boston?VVA?office will lead the team, working alongside?Architect?EMBARC, Timberline Construction Corporation, BLW Engineers, H+O Structural Engineering, and Kyle Zick Landscape Architecture. Upon its completion and opening in 2026, this state-of-the-art headquarters facility will enable YES to serve over 2,000 youth annually by 2031.
