100%. Everything has a cost. Everything has a benefit. Related or indirect pros and cons. We often inflate both which keeps us exactly where we are, motivated to stay by the familiar (no matter how hard and damaging that might be) and kept in check by the fear of discomfort and unknown struggle. If we viewed the costs of our actions (as long as they aren’t hurting others) as a ticket rather than a burden, access rather than barrier, we would be more likely to step out of our unhealthy or restrictive comfort zones and allow ourselves the opportunity to develop and grow. There will always be a sacrifice or a personal challenge to overcome but what challenge or sacrifice are you making by living forever in your current circumstances? Will it be financial struggle, regret, boredom lowereed mental health and wellbeing, lack of control or choice?
