Have you ever considered what it’s like to face the relentless Arizona sun without access to clean water? In Phoenix, dehydration isn't just a discomfort; it's a life-threatening issue, especially for our homeless population. Temperatures often soar above 100°F, and without adequate hydration, the risk of severe health complications skyrockets. It’s a silent crisis that doesn’t get the attention it deserves. We often take for granted the simple act of turning on a tap. For some, it’s a luxury they can’t afford. By raising awareness and taking action, we can help ensure that everyone has access to this basic necessity. The Sullivan employees have donated to bring this support to our community. Stanley Tree Service is creating a challenge! We donated one tree removal for one dollar, and we want to ask others to continue this. We are challenging Above and Beyond Tree of Rhode Island to do the same! Want to be a part of the 1 Tree for 1 Dollar challenge? Rules: 1. Dan Pallotta, author of Uncharitable, highlights the struggles with non-profits, the way we think, and how donors view overhead. We are put into a box, a prison, unable to escape because of the ideology?created around non-profits. Crisis, such as the tragic fires in and around Ruidoso, reveal the character of people and businesses. Such as the extreme leadership of MATI’s Godfrey Enjady working tirelessly with friends, such as PVT’s James Meyers, to restore vital communications within and outside of their own service areas. Or the local businesses working together to meet the needs of those impacted. Local businesses matter and will be there when needed.
