When you can get to this point, then you have the right to say you have started on your journey of personal development... It takes deep introspection to be able to unravel events that have been very challenging and later see the blessings in them. Like many of us I have had my fair share of unexpected 'adventures' , obstacles and hurdles. Times of angst or confusion, especially during extended travels when I was younger. Because whatever you haven't dealt with, that you thought you'd left behind, can come back to rear it's ugly head again. The feeling I had of being an outsider when I was growing up did not suddenly disappear just because I donned a uniform 'backpack'. I did not suddenly morph into a Global Village Ambassador that would confidently feel accepted wherever I went... And our work of self acceptance is an ongoing journey. Every time you attain a certain level of success or accomplishment, there will be new gremlins that appear to question your sense of self worth. That is why dropping out of our overactive pre- frontal cortex which (over) analyses and rationalises is so important. And connecting home into our heart space and heart intelligence. Finding forgiveness and a deep compassion for ourselves and others. And yes you have heard this before. But to know it is one thing, to truly feel and experience it is another. This is the area I work in; to be able to listen, sense, feel and understand what's happening within you, to access resources you have within, in your somatic being, and from this place come to a new understanding and ultimately way of being. Warning. It's a journey, not a cut and dried destination, but it doesn't have to be a long grind through a tunnel. It can be peppered with (much) lightless and joy in the process. The most evolved way of speaking is without words. Connecting vibrationally is something our ancestors did but as we didn’t nurture this super power, we forgot we had it. Then we forgot that we forgot. And so we lost this gift. We live in a world where we are unable to communicate effectively with our own Self. More often than not we don’t even listen to our Self and our true feelings and desires. We listen to what we ‘should’ do and what we ‘should’ feel. It’s no wonder we are unable to communicate with others. Misunderstandings occur because we are not listening. First listen. Drop into feeling, be aware of your vibration. You will recognise whether there is a mutual understanding with another. Or not. …less words more feeling.

brave enough to ask yourself questions that question your own opinion and your own belief. It's okay to question your ideals, opinions and beliefs even if you believe it with conviction. You arent abandoning anyone not even yourself by asking questions. How are we to learn if we dont ask questions? Everything I've learned is by asking questions, especially, questions that make me question what I believe to be true. It only makes me seek answers by researching information to help me either see if I'm right or wrong. Who wants to be wrong? If you dont, researching your beliefs, by searching for the history, timeline, science, math, data, whatever information is relevant to your question. Remember dont get complicated, simple questions are all you need and lead you directly to what you want to know. Look at simple details, like date, time, does this text. book and/or testimony match this text, book and/or testimony.

“Know thyself”, words instructed by one of the wisest philosophers to ever walk this realm. But most of us are clueless about who we really are. The late Alan Watts said before we learn the alphabet or how to count, we need to be educated about who we are. What are we. Where are we going. And why. This is not taught at school. Not properly. So, think for yourself. Do the research. Do the inner work. We are SO much more than we have been taught to believe. More powerful. Wise beyond belief. We are compassion. We are patience. And kindness. We are love! Pure love. We are peace. We are the joy we seek. It’s gifted to every single one of us bar none. We are not actually even sick. The body only knows to heal. That’s what it does. The ‘sickness’ symptoms are, in fact, the healing. It’s so clever. But we don’t trust… oh ye of little faith. And so we cause all the imbalances. And as such, we shorten our lives in this physical body. And we get old and immobile. This lowers our vibration and causes depression and anxiety. We are catapulted from the world of love into fear. Ahhh there’s so much to awaken to. Educate yourself …properly. Meditate. Pray. But do it all properly. You’ll realise so much when you go inside. If you want. Or you can just stay on the hamster wheel until you take your last breath. In yoga we practise Savasana otherwise known as corpse pose. We practise dying before we die. Taking our last breath. Sounds macabre. Or crazy. But it’s not. It’s enlightening. It is inspiring. It’s actually crazy that we don’t incorporate these ancient wise practises as routine into our lives.
