Vital Farms really is a story about strength in numbers. Their network of 400+ small family farms has been impacted by bird flu far less than large-scale, factory-farmed commodity flocks. As a result, their supply and price has remained steady. They've always been on the high end, but now the price gap has narrowed.

Nobody wants to produce mutton because it’s not financially viable. WORKERS RIGHTS BILL TO COST SMALL COMPANIES THOUSANDS EVERY YEAR (www.thetimes.com/) Labour’s workers’ rights package will cost business up to ￡4.5 billion a year and lead to about a million workers getting a lower rate of sick pay, according to official analysis. Small businesses will be “disproportionately” hit, according to a government impact assessment, with companies likely to respond by putting up prices and cutting staff. Strikes may become more common under reforms which repeal anti-trade union laws and extend the mandate for industrial action ballots from six to twelve months. Union spending on political campaigning, including donations to the Labour Party, is likely to rise, officials predict.
