I had a great time at the PIN Society session! In this session I briefly discussed the three key traits that the most successful real estate agents have in common: Application, Basics, and Circle. I like to refer to these as the ABCs of success in real estate! ?? Application The importance of developing a strong self-discipline (discipline is a skill) and fully understand they are running a business (not just selling houses). ?? Basics The need to consistently execute the basic sales activities, such as connecting, lead generation, and client relationship management, even when the market is tough. ?? Circle The value of being part of a supportive community or “circle” of fellow agents to stay motivated, share best practices, and overcome obstacles #RealEstateAgents #SalesTraining #EntrepreneurMindset #SupportCommunity

Yesterday was a day. ?? Some days are particular exciting, you know!? ?? Often just because there are developments or new opportunities land or whatever. ? We found out we are shortlisted in the last 2 companies for a large international project in 2025 that we pitched for. ? We were introduced to and now have a call lined up with the organiser of a huge global event happening in 2027. ? We were invited to pitch for 2 large events happening in the Middle East. One is quite short notice and the other is next year. ? We were introduced to the organisers of another event, whose first comment to us then was ‘when we saw your website we knew we wanted you to pitch for this’. (Well done Dermot and co. ??) ? Signed and returned an NDA so we can see documentation relating to a pitch process for a huge sporting event. ?? And those were all just developments / new stuff, let alone what we have on our plates here already. I'm still buzzing from the opportunity to see Jude and Marcus speak 2 weeks ago. I left the event inspired about the work that we do and how to continue to push the conversations forward on how we treat and use data in our day to day work. As Dr. Marcus Collins challenged us..."We don't see the world as 'what' it is, we see the world as "WHO we are". Noodling on that will expand your horizons of how you approach the work that you do regardless of part of the 'organization' you are with. I'm left with these additional nuggets of wisdom from the talk from both Dr. Marcus Collins and Judith Carr-Rodriguez... 1 - Consumption is a CULTURAL act. 2 - Don't mistake information for intimacy. 3 - Shakespeare was right - "All the world's a stage, and we are merely [SOCIAL] actors." 4 - Stories of 'failure' generally result in stories of innovation. 5 - Don't confuse kindness with weakness. 6 - Good storytelling and creativity is 'messy' - it is likely clear at the beginning, messy in the middle and magical by the end. 7 - The messy middle is necessary! 8 - Sometimes the obvious isn't obvious until it's pointed out. #alwayslearning #4As
