Multitasking is?scientifically impossible.?Our brains are not designed to focus on multiple things at once, and when we attempt to multitask, we become more easily distracted and less productive, score lower on tests for recalling information, and make more errors.?What we commonly refer to as multitasking is better described as task-switching because the brain is not capable of intently focusing on two serious tasks at the same time. Agree! Organized, critical thinking, prioritization…these are skills.
I find it interesting that even knowing multitasking isn't effective, many still chase that ideal. Focusing on one task can really boost quality.
