Livestreaming child sexual exploitation can take form in two concerning ways: ?? It may involve streaming abuse thats happening offline; or ??Children may be coerced into performing sexual acts in front of a webcam, often for payment. This type of exploitation is typically facilitated by someone with financial motives, making it distinct from self-generated child abuse material. We must raise awareness and fight to stop these horrific crimes. Every child deserves safety and dignity. We invite you to join the fight! #endchildabuse #stopexploitation #Childsafety #livestreamingabuse #stopcsam #childadvocate #protectchildren #sextortionawareness #ChildSafetyMatters #TechResponsibility #ProtectChildrenOnline #OnlineSafety #CollectiveAction #OnlineChildSafety #ChildInternetSafety #StrongerLaws #ChildProtectionInitiative #SafeguardingChildren #ChildExploitationPrevention #PreventChildAbuseOnline

The numbers don't lie: Every 68 seconds, an American is sexually assaulted, and every nine minutes, that victim is a child. Meanwhile, only 25 out of every 1,000 perpetrators will end up in prison. During Sexual Assault Awareness Month, let's pledge to continue listening, learning and taking action to prevent sexual violence. "While the definition of a “victim” in the Bill is helpful, there remain gaps for family members or third-party victims of crimes such as sexual abuse, sexual violence and other serious crimes, including domestic abuse, which is omitted. Only where a murder or death has happened are family members included. Family lives are often shattered by these crimes." As discussed in the House of Lords …. Directly because of Restitute. We know the importance of supporting families and third-part victims of crime and our methodology is proven in the successful outcomes of those we have and are supporting. #Family #Support {hashtag|\#|ThirdPartyVictims} {hashtag|\#|Restitute} {hashtag|\#|SexualCrime} {hashtag|\#|ViolentCrime} {hashtag|\#|Survivors} {hashtag|\#|VictimsBill} buff.ly/3S3st9z

More survivors of sexual violence are seeking help than ever before, and advocates report that their needs are increasingly severe. With ongoing cuts to Victims of Crime Act (#VOCA) funding, the capacity to respond to these calls for help is at risk. This is a #Crisis4Victims

May is Sexual Assault Prevention Month. It is an opportunity to raise awareness about the devasting impact of this crime, to better understand its deep cultural and historical roots, to support victims and survivors and to work together to stop the violence. It’s also an opportunity to highlight the strength and resilience of survivors, and to recognize the accomplishments of the individuals and organizations that are working to raise awareness of sexual assault, support victims and prosecute offenders. In Canada, one in three women and one in six men will experience sexual violence in their lifetime. Women are three times more likely to be stalked and four times more likely to be a victim of intimate partner violence. Indigenous women and girls are even more likely to be victims of assault as are other racialized, minority and vulnerable communities. #EndVAW

When it comes to addressing sexual violence against children, we often place blame on the victims themselves, labeling them as "bad kids." But why is it that we find it easier to criticise the children instead of holding the perpetrators accountable? What has made it socially acceptable to brand children as "bad" and not refer to adults paedophiles for who they are? It's crucial to emphasise that sex should never involve children, and those introducing them to such situations should face severe consequences, including imprisonment. Any family memebr who tries to sit on the issue at home should be considered an accomplice and should be trialed as such. Children deserve their innocence and the freedom to play without fear. Any adult exploiting children must be sent to the farthest corners of Nsawam's jail. Instead of simply blaming the child, communities and families should actively support stronger social services to protect children from irresponsible parents. Together, we can/should create an environment where children can grow up feeling very safe and secure. #Developmentcommunication #Sexualhealth #Sexualviolence #Sexualhealthadvocate
