Why are thermal cameras mounted on vehicles so efficient? Because they solve multiple everyday problems. When you look at traditional systems meant to prevent stalking, theft, ambush etc you get defeated the second the sun goes down. Now with thermal, yes you’re going to have some downsides during the day, but that’s where situational awareness and common sense come into play.
