Who doesn't have a branded pint glass or two from their favorite pub in their cupboard or home bar? The fact is that branded glasses are great marketing. Sitting on your bartop full of that delicious hard-brewed craft beer or lovingly brought home by a passionate customer. Of course, you hope that the glass was paid for - and didn't just walk away on its own- but either way, it's still good marketing. Despite the obvious benefits of branded glasses many microbreweries and pubs prefer not to use them for service because of breakage and theft. At $2.00 - $3.50 a pop the costs can start adding up quickly if you're buying a new batch every few months. It can be a real issue for smaller businesses, and theft always sucks, but if you think of it as part of your advertising budget and not an operational cost, the investment is a little easier to justify. In MHO, branded glasses help make the brand. They help to create a space instead of just a place which is an important distinction for any B2C point of sale looking to become a third place in a community. It's a part of the atmosphere and as a bonus, it becomes an advertisement. On Instagram, TikTok, Untapped, and yes even in people's homes. What do you think though? Is the cost worth it? In July 2022 I created a best selling cocktail/mocktail for a restaurant in London’s famous West End - it stayed on the menu 2 seasons. Mixology is a fascinating art of juxtaposition, blending the skills of flavour creation and visual attraction, experience and experimentation. Nowadays people are spoilt for choice, we are all inundated with choice. Consumers and companies alike need to have their choices ratified, good products or services make people feel like they have made the right choice, invested their time wisely. Apt wording or a psychologically effective logo can even make people feel happy, reassured or more. We make countless micro decisions each day in this fast paced world and instinct now plays a vital role in where we place our curiosity and with which brands to align ourselves within our daily lives and habits. We pay for the emotions and experience created; we pay for our own conditioning, because when it comes down to it, that’s the only thing that lasts in the bloodstream, the only remaining taste that the brain craves, the taste of a good decision. ?? How the f*** did a £5 pizza become the creative that "killed it" for Boys Get Sad Too? ?? The answer: Not a clue. Sometimes you have to get a bit creative and think outside the box. It doesn't exactly take a genius to marry this tee design with a pizza box but it was our teams ability to get that across in a creative way that made this such a good piece of content for the brand. In a world where there's plenty of tee's hung on racks or flat-laid, try chucking some in a pizza box. *Caveat: It helped us massively that BGST had this tee in the first place, one of our all-time favourite designs. **Yes we actually bought some pizza for this creative and asked for a spare box... One of the biggest challenges we faced at Bravo Media was this: how do we elevate a private corporate dinner at one of NYC's most elevated restaurants, Le Bernardin? We responded to that challenge in two ways. First, we integrated a technique and a technology we knew well, #projectionmapping. We know, when done right, projection mapping presents viewers with that perfect sense of wonder as they view the realistically impossible illusions. Second, we asked ourselves what could truly expand the experience and not just cover the meal with a bunch of flashy graphics. It was our tour of kitchen that turned out to be the key. We saw the chefs preparing each ingredient and element of that evening's dishes. The plating was like a magic show. So, working closely with the incredible team at Le Bernardin we meticulously shot and animated the plating of every dish on the private dinner menu. On the night, each guest was able to watch the virtual plating and then, because this is how good these guys are at Le Bernardin, have an identical REAL plate appear before them. When an experience serves to elevate something already amazing it's a pretty special feeling. #events #hospitality
